I’m an avid reader and I’m always “stuck Into” at least one book at any one time. I’d always had the fantasy of being a writer – like most readers, I’m sure – but the right idea or plot line never seemed to come to mind. So I stuck to reading. Until, that is, I met Peter Thomson. Peter is a Lead Generation and Product Creation expert and a couple of years ago I attended one of his workshops in London on Product Creation.
He made it seem so easy. One of his suggestions was a “100 Top Tips” book. The method was to take a subject that you know well – in my case Credit Control – , divide it into 10 sections, and, within each section, create 10 “Top Tips” . I did all that and the end result was my book – “100 Top Tips in Credit Control”. I have to admit that I was delighted at the way it turned out and when I saw the printed copies, I was particularly pleased. So, now I’m a published author after all, although maybe not in the sphere that i originially envisaged. The book is a very handy manual which takes the reader right throught the Credit Control Procedure and sets out easy to read tips on every aspect of Credit Control. Some of the sections are :
- Opening New Accounts
- Dealing with Invoice Queries
- Legal Aspects of Credit Control
and within each of those – and the others – there are 10 very useful tips. The book is available in hard copy – e-mail to email@example.com or online via the website – http://www.creditcontrolconfidential.com
